But what does Blue-White-Core mean?

The Bleu-Blanc-Cœur approach is defined as follows: “To feed people well, we must start by taking care of our soils, our crops, the quality of our food and the health of our animals.

The name Bleu-Blanc-Cœur was chosen some twenty years ago for the following reasons: flax is widely used in the feed of cows within the framework of the approach and it is BLUE. Transparency is an essential value of the approach and is symbolised by WHITE. Finally, the issues at stake in the approach concern nutrition, which is symbolised by the HEART.
